Evolution of debt maturities
An optimal balance between short‑ and long‑term debt financing is essential to safeguarding our liquidity position. This approach enables us to optimise our cost of debt and to respond swiftly to changing market conditions. It also reinforces our financial stability and creditworthiness, both of which are crucial for sustainable growth and continued investment. We consistently maintain available capacity to fund future investments and dividend payments through undrawn credit lines.

Interest rate hedging
Through a conservative hedging policy, the Company protects itself against unexpected fluctuations in interest rate markets. This is achieved by entering into interest rate swaps (IRSs) at a fixed rate, typically with a longer‑term profile, complemented by CAPs with a shorter‑term profile that set a maximum interest rate.

Debt structure
We aim for a well‑diversified mix of financing sources. Bank loans are contracted exclusively with reputable financial institutions. In addition, when market conditions are favourable, we also access the capital markets.

Debt structure
A healthy debt ratio is a key indicator of a robust organisation. That is why we aim to permanently keep this ratio below 50%. Our Board of Directors continuously evaluates the Company’s solvency, enabling us to proceed with a capital increase — in cash or in kind — whenever required.

  • The supervisory authority (FSMA) monitors compliance with legislation and guarantees transparency towards the market.

Verification of our figures

The statutory auditor (external auditor) and the internal auditor complement one another in safeguarding the reliability of our figures.

  • The statutory auditor audits the financial statements and examines whether valuations and figures have been processed correctly and in accordance with applicable legislation. He gives an independent opinion on the fairness of the financial reporting and thus acts as an external safeguard for shareholders and supervisory bodies.
  • The internal auditor works within the Company and continuously assesses internal controls, risks and processes. The internal auditor reports to the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee, ensuring that potential weaknesses or errors are identified and addressed in a timely manner.
