Care Property Invest dividend 2025: gross €1.00, net €0.85 after 15% withholding tax

Dividend for 2025

For the financial year 2025, we commit to paying a total gross dividend of €1.00. After deduction of the reduced withholding tax rate of 15%, this results in a net dividend of €0.85 per share, payable following approval by the General Meeting on 27 May 2026.

Following the detachment of coupon 21 (entitling holders to the dividend for the period from 01/01/2025 to 03/12/2025) in the context of the capital increase in December 2025, the currently traded shares bearing coupon 22 entitle the holder to a pro rata dividend for the 2025 financial year for the period from 04/12/2025 to 31/12/2025.

More information on the applicable coupons and their detachment can be found in our shareholder calendar.

Sustainable dividend strategy

Our dividend policy is of crucial importance to our shareholders. We therefore increase our dividend whenever this is sustainably feasible, in order to avoid reductions in subsequent financial years. We reserve as much profit as possible for reinvestment and aim for a pay‑out ratio close to the statutory minimum of 80%. In addition, we strive for optimal liquidity by, for example, assessing annually whether an optional dividend could be an attractive solution.

Historical overview of dividend payments

Below is a historical overview of our dividend payments. In 2014, we transitioned from constructing service flats for the Flemish government to our current residential care business. In this context, a share split (1/1,000) was carried out.

Because we invest exclusively in care real estate, the dividends we distribute benefit from a reduced withholding tax rate of 15%, whereas the standard rate is 30% (pursuant to reparation art. 171, 3°quater and art. 269, §1, 3°, WIB 1992; introduced by art. 89 and art. 90 of the law of 18 December 2016, and amended by art. 20 of the law of 27 December 2021). Before 2013, no withholding tax applied to Care Property Invest shares, which meant that the gross dividend was equal to the net dividend.
