Care Property Invest acquires high-quality new-build project in Alicante, Spain
On 24 December, Care Property Invest acquired Emera Alicante, a residential care centre still in development, located in the green Vistahermosa district of Alicante (Spain). The project represents a total investment value of approximately €14.4 million, is scheduled for completion in June 2028, and will accommodate 139 residents across 122 rooms. The development is being undertaken through an asset deal with forward funding.
The residential care centre will be a modern and sustainable building, constructed in accordance with the highest quality and environmental standards (EPC A). Featuring 122 solar panels, energy‑efficient technologies and a flexible design, the project is well positioned to meet future care needs. The site is within walking distance of a hospital and offers a pleasant landscaped garden setting as well as 63 parking spaces.
Patrick Couttenier, CEO of Care Property Invest, commented:
“With Emera Alicante, we are not only strengthening our position in Spain, but also delivering a remarkable, future‑proof building that meets the strong demand for high‑quality care beds. This project marks our ninth investment in Spain and our 160th overall — an important milestone that underlines our growth strategy.”
